I embarked on the mission to become a Web designer 15+ years ago as a means of personal and professional career development. After completing a HNC in multimedia, I went on to university and gained a BSc First Class Degree in Multimedia.

I began working as a self-employed web design contractor for both a corporate and internet marketing company.

After a few years, I decided I wanted to build up my own client base and portfolio, creating websites, primarily for start-up companies, SMEs and individuals wanting an online presence.

I later wanted to gain experience in a web design agency and began working for MrSite LTD and Coralon.

Recently, I worked as the Digital designer for Abel & Cole’s marketing team. The role was to update and maintain the company website with new digital content including creating web assets and pages, marketing emails and blogs.

I have a track record of successful projects and high customer satisfaction ratings – having built a number of websites across different business areas and market sectors.

Skills

I specialize in front-end development using HTML, HTML5, CSS, and CSS3, with a strong focus on clean, hand-coded markup. I design and build custom WordPress websites, working with popular page builders like Elementor and Divi to create responsive, visually consistent, and user-friendly layouts.
My design process follows key UX/UI principles, and I have experience using tools like Figma to assist in planning and prototyping user interfaces.
For graphic design, I primarily use Adobe Photoshop, along with InDesign and Illustrator, to craft visually compelling assets that support web and digital experiences.
I also apply basic SEO best practices including optimized site structure, performance, mobile responsiveness, and on-page elements to help improve visibility and search rankings.
